D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. Shooting to fame for his role as a character in Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. In addition, he's appeared in over 22 television shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has been diagnosed at age 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a tough fighter. He was able to get rid of his cancer after two years. But the treatment at such an early age left severe impact on his body. It also slowed his development. Once he was performing, financial stability was the goal. He'd experienced the poverty of his youth. After living so modestly for so long I need this financial assurance. Otherwise the world seems beyond my reach. He thinks back to his youth and feels a desire to take action against bullying. DJ says that "Cruelty causes pain to my heart." The ideal character for him in films and in his life is that of father. However, he does admit that the directors rarely cast him for those types of jobs. Someday he would love to have a child of his own in the future, when he could be able to devote less time to his career and more time with his children.
